Lymphedema
In women, Lymphedema is most prevalent the upper limbs after breast cancer surgery and lymph node dissection, occurring in the arm on the side of the body in which the surgery is performed. Celeste will be speaking about the prevention and identification of Lymphedema. She will also be discussing Lymphedema treatments and the statistics of prognoses. Celeste Morley, MPT received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at Loma Linda University in 2004 then began the study of lymphedema management in 2005 with The Coast to Coast School of Lymphedema Management. She has been practicing physical therapy and lymphedema management locally for the past five years and provides education for cancer survivors through various support groups including Michelle’s Place.
