Temecula Breast Cancer Resource Center Celebrates 10 Years - Murrieta Patch - Nov 19 2011Temecula Breast Cancer Resource Center Celebrates 10 Years Michelle's Place started in November, 2001, and provided service to more than 60,000 people. A breast cancer resource center celebrated its tenth anniversary this month. Michelle's Place, based in Temecula, opened in November, 2001, and since served more than 60,000 people, according to president Kim Goodnough. To celebrate the anniversary, the organization started a fund-raising campaign so it can win a $25,000 matching grant it got from a private donor, Goodnough said in an emailed announcement. “We are proud to see how far Michelle’s Place has come in 10 years. It would not have been possible without the continuous dedication and passion of our boards, staff and volunteers.” said Marilyn Watson, the organization's founder. |
